In December 2007 Fassmer received an order for the design and construction of a state of the art 65 m long Geophysical Survey Vessel Type "FSSV 65".
The so called FSSV 65 (FUGRO STANDARD SURVEY VESSEL) is supposed to set new standards within the FUGRO offshore survey fleet.
The main functions of the new vessel are:
Hydrography (multibeam bathymetry to full ocean depth).
Geophysical survey (shallow seismic and sonar).
Geotechnical investigation (seabed sampling). |
