Berne, October 1, 2023 – Fassmer is preparing itself for the challenges of the future and appoints Jan Oskar Henkel to the company’s management board as of October 1, 2023.

Jan Oskar Henkel, who has held various management positions at Fr. Fassmer GmbH & Co. KG since 2019, has been appointed as an additional Managing Director alongside Holger and Harald Fassmer. In this role, the 43-year-old will primarily be responsible for the operational areas of design, production, project management, and procurement.

After completing his studies in Industrial Engineering (Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing.), Mr. Henkel successfully held various positions and leadership roles within the maritime industry.

With this strategic decision, Managing Partners Harald and Holger Fassmer aim to broaden the foundation of the company’s management and to position it more effectively with regard to existing growth potential as well as the increasing complexity of orders.
