As a company with a long tradition, we fully recognize the urgency of climate action. That’s why we are committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our operations and reducing our carbon footprint.

Our goal: to achieve climate neutrality by 2035 through a holistic strategy of reduction, substitution, and compensation. This commitment is already reflected in concrete measures we are taking today.

Our achievements

Energy efficiency measures
At Fassmer, energy efficiency is a top priority. By optimizing our energy consumption, we have made a significant contribution to the responsible use of natural resources.
Natural gas consumption
In 2022, we reduced our natural gas consumption by an impressive 39.5% compared to the previous year.
Green electricity
Since July 2022, we have been sourcing 100% renewable electricity, actively helping to reduce CO₂ emissions.
Greenhouse gas emissions
Through lower natural gas consumption and the switch to renewable electricity, we have already saved a substantial amount of greenhouse gas emissions. Compared to 2020, by the end of 2023 we will have reduced our CO₂ emissions by at least 2,000 tons.

Social responsibility

As a family-owned company, we take our responsibility to society seriously. We are actively engaged in local communities and support social projects that promote education and science.
