Fassmer has been supplying the wind industry with precision series components and pre-assembled systems for over 20 years. Our customers include Siemens, Enercon, GE, Nordex and Senvion. Our portfolio ranges from spinner and nacelle fairings in large quantities to access solutions such as helihoists, helicopter platforms and offshore gangways (including CAP 437, ICAO, EU 965/2012). If required, we can integrate fixtures and electrical and hydraulic assemblies – ready for installation from a single source.

Spinners & Nacelle Fairings

We manufacture spinners and nacelle fairings in large series – made of GRP or aluminium. On request, we supply pre-assembled systems with integrated components as well as electrical or hydraulic assemblies.

Helihoists

Helihoists are completely corrosion-resistant and ensure permanent access to offshore installations. They are certified according to DNV-GL/CAP 437 and can be equipped with emergency lowering, orientation lighting and hoisting equipment, among other things.

Helicopter platforms

Our helidecks are easy to install; individual profiles can be replaced without complete dismantling. We supply aluminium, steel or hybrid – fully equipped and certified according to CAP 437, ICAO, EU 965/2012 and § 6 LuftVG.

Offshore gangways

Whether installation, large component replacement or O&M: our gangways enable safe passage in all weather conditions. They are swivelling, adjustable in height and length, and can be customised on request.

Wind Accommodation Modules (WAM)

The self-sufficient modules offer protection and overnight accommodation for service teams. SOLAS-compliant, ventilated and heated, equipped with beds, sanitary facilities, emergency rations and water bags, as well as easy access to the plant's electronics.

Production

From tool to component

Ideas become moulds, moulds become components. With our own mould and tool making facilities and state-of-the-art processes – hand laminating, vacuum infusion, RTM and wet pressing – we manufacture precision components for your projects. Tight tolerances, clean surfaces and documented tests are standard. Measurement reports and 3D scans of the master model make every step traceable, and fit and surface checks accompany the manufacturing process. On request, we can integrate functional interfaces, inserts or cable harnesses – so that your component is ready for installation.

Technology & Materials

Whether high strength, low weight or corrosion protection – GRP, CFRP and aluminium provide the right basis for precise and resilient wind power components.

GRP

Glass fibre reinforced plastic combines high strength and stability with low weight and corrosion resistance. It is ideal for spinner and nacelle fairings, offshore gangways and numerous other wind power components.

CFRP

Carbon fibre reinforced plastic achieves particularly high rigidity with even lower weight. This makes it suitable for components that have to withstand extreme loads while remaining lightweight.

Aluminium

Seawater-resistant aluminium is used for nacelle and spinner fairings, helidecks and gangways. It is robust, lightweight, corrosion-resistant and meets international classification standards.

Research & Development

Where innovations are born

At Fassmer, development is in our own hands: design, master models, negative moulds and tools are created directly in-house – backed up by 3D scanning, measurement reports and tested vacuum tightness. This is how we ensure dimensional accuracy right from the development process. In addition, the close integration of our business areas creates synergies that drive innovation – right through to solutions such as improved fire resistance for international standards.
