After Fassmer recently signed the contract for Germany´s new fisheries research vessel „Walther Herwig“, a major order from Singapore has now been awarded to the company. The newbuild order from the Ministry of Defence (Singapore) through the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) includes the delivery of four Offshore Patrol Vessels and Integrated Logistics Support for the Republic of Singapore Navy. The delivery of the Offshore Patrol Vessels extends towards the end of the decade and thus contributes to an underlying workload and job stability in the upcoming years.
